Since opening in October 2014, Brace of Butchers has become a huge success due to its affordable quality and exceptional service. This has been recognised by fantastic reviews on Facebook & Google, as well as national and regional awards. They essentially provide what supermarkets cannot by supporting and suppling stock from local businesses. They have a very close relationship with local suppliers and manage their buying direct from local farmers and producers.
They believe the secret to their success is taking extreme care when sourcing products; as opposed to purchasing separate cuts from several sources, they procure entire animals from local farmers as much as possible. This is what they believe to be respectful and responsible purchasing.
In November 2018 they launched their Zero single-use plastic retail area and named it NAKED BRACE. It has been a huge success and developed their ethos further allowing them to stock lots of exciting new products but also change the format of some of their products to differentiate themselves even more.
