This beautiful five-bedroomed home in Branksome Park is just a stone’s throw from Canford Cliffs Beach, Sandbanks, Parkstone Golf Club and Poole Harbour. The spacious residence has an extensive garden on several levels as well as a heated swimming pool, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and recreation. 

The house is approached by a gated drive, big enough for at least five cars. The separate porch opens into a spacious hallway with an intercom system for opening the gate and a downstairs utility/WC. All the reception rooms can be accessed from the hallway, including a beautifully decorated, comfortable lounge with a piano and plenty of seating on the three sofas.

The traditional kitchen, with all the appliances and crockery needed, has a dining table and opens through to the second lounge area, with a pool table that doubles up as a further dining table. Doors from both this room and the kitchen open out to the first part of the garden, featuring a covered outdoor lounge area and space for alfresco dining and cooking. During the warmer months, this area acts as a natural extension of the house, providing plenty of space for multiple families and friends to spread out. 

Upstairs, the five double bedrooms are accompanied by four bathrooms (three en suites) arranged over two floors, with a seating area on the first-floor landing. All the bedrooms are comfortable and bright.

 

Outside

This home has an incredibly large garden. Steps from the patio and outdoor lounge area lead up to the heated swimming pool and pool house, which is adjacent to a newly installed artificial lawn, with football goals and a children’s climbing and play area. From here, the lawn leads up to a beautiful wooded area, perfect for exploring.

 

Notes to Guests

This home is only let during the school holidays and is a much-loved family home for the remainder of the year. As such, some personal effects will remain in the house, but plenty of children’s toys and games are available as well as the usual creature comforts. 

There is a self-contained annexe on the grounds, which is currently unavailable for guests to use. Also, the garage, attic and walk-in wardrobe, will be locked. This is to house some of the owner’s belongings and to maintain a clutter-free environment. 

The heated swimming pool is accessible during the warmer seasons, with an extra fee applicable to cover cleaning and chemicals. Please note that the pool is closed and covered during the winter months.

It is hard to imagine that Canford Cliffs Beach, Sandbanks, Parkstone Golf Club and Poole Harbour are all just a stone’s throw away. For ease, Bournemouth Train Station is just three miles away and offers direct links to London Waterloo.

Beach

Branksome Chime Beach is just a few minutes by car, or a leisurely  25-minute walk. With sand that stretches for miles and beautiful coastal views from Old Harry Rocks to the Isle of Wight, this is a fun, lively beach. There are several beachfront restaurants, including the newly-opened, exclusive Rock Water.

Wellness

This home has plenty of space to enjoy a private pampering session, either inside or, if the weather permits, we can set up in the woodland area or by the pool. We can also organise group/solo yoga, pilates or workout sessions with qualified instructors and personal trainers and, if needed, we can arrange for a mobile sauna or hot tub to be installed ready for your stay.

Catering

There is no shortage of fabulous eateries in the area and we are always happy to point you in the right direction based on your requirements. If you prefer to eat from the comfort of your own space, then we can bring delicious food to you. From private chefs to pre-prepared meals, served inside or out, we work with the best local talent.
