Join DOMVS in supporting Willdoes on a 10k run & walk.
The #Willdoes charity is dedicated to the memory of William Paddy, a sporty, charismatic child who grew up near Swanage, Dorset, and enjoyed horse riding, snow boarding, rugby and tennis. Sadly Will’s life ended early at the age of 14, but his energy lives on through those who knew him and in his charity, #Willdoes.
Will’s mother, Les, has set up the charity to help young people who may be finding life tough, struggling to cope with daily life.
Whether you’re a runner or a walker everyone’s welcome. It promises to be a great day!
Taking place in Studland, the #Willdoes 10k will follow a similar route to the “Trust 10” (https://runtogether.co.uk/routes/trust10-at-studland-bay/): The route will be fully signposted and marshalled.
10k Run/Walk Details
Date: Sunday 2nd October 2022
Cost: Cost of entry is £10 per walker/runner – no fee for spectators
Location: Start and finish at Knoll Beach, Studland, Dorset. BH19 3AH
Times: Registration opens at: Walkers: 9:15am and Runners 10:15am located at Knoll Beach by the cafe.
WALKERS: 9:45am: Pre-walk briefing and warm-up
10:00am: Walkers start on Knoll Beach
RUNNERS: 10:45am: Pre-run briefing and warm-up
11:00am: Runners start on Knoll Beach

After the fun run & walk we will be gathering for refreshments & BBQ at Old Harry Bar.
