Land Seminar for Developers
Friday 28th February, Haven Hotel, Sandbanks
DOMVS enjoyed a splendid turn-out of almost 100 delegates for the latest Land Seminar for Developers at The Haven Hotel, Sandbanks on Friday 28th February. The seminar was opened by Bill Cotton, Corporate Director – Regeneration and Economy, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council, giving an overview of BCP Council’s aspirations to serve the development community.
Guest speakers represented a veritable team of experts and included Giles Moir from CL Planning, James Green from Williams Lester Architects; Pete Cattermole from CB Reid accountants; Emma Stainwright from Steele Raymond LLP Solicitors; James Wallis from Aben Financial and Neil Greenway, Land Director of DOMVS. With a full house, attendees commentated that they had really appreciated the range of information available and the professionalism with which it had been delivered.
Polly Greenway, DOMVS Director, asked Dominic Pond from The Bus Shelter Dorset to close the event. A charity close to DOMVS’ heart Dominic was keen to raise awareness and explained how delegates could help to bring an end to homelessness; he said “ Our bucket collection raised a massive £302.70 which will go a long way in helping our guests. But more valuable than that were the contacts and connections I took away which I will be following up on next week. Thanks so much again for your continued support.”
